Email support@variantdoku.com with any question, bug report, or feedback about VariantDoku.
To help us resolve an issue quickly, please include:
- Your device and operating system version (for example, iPhone 15 / iOS 18, or Pixel 8 / Android 15).
- The name of the puzzle, if the problem happened while solving one.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Purchases and subscriptions
Variant+ is available as a monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google, so billing questions and refunds are managed through the store you bought from.
- Restore a purchase: open Settings inside the app and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account you originally purchased with.
- Manage or cancel a subscription: use Apple's subscription settings or Google Play's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: request these directly from Apple or Google. We cannot issue store refunds on your behalf, but do email us if something went wrong and we will help however we can.
Common questions
My progress disappeared. Saved games are stored on your device. Reinstalling the app or resetting the device removes them. If a puzzle you were solving is missing while the app is still installed, please email us with the puzzle name.
A puzzle looks unsolvable. Every published puzzle has exactly one solution. If you believe you have found a puzzle with no solution or more than one, send us the puzzle name and a screenshot — we investigate every report.
The hint does not explain enough. Hints follow the same logic a human solver would use, and they build on the pencil marks already on your grid. Filling in candidates before asking for a hint usually produces a more specific explanation.

Privacy and data
VariantDoku does not use accounts, and does not collect names, email addresses, or advertising identifiers. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail, and the Terms of Use for the terms that apply to the app.
